I don’t want to be a downer but I think folks here are overestimating the relative craziness of token mania on Farcaster vs elsewhere

A token on Twitter went from 0 to $400m in a day, I don’t think they’re going to be coming here bc of $anon :/

I think there’s lots of things that make Farcaster really interesting and special but it’ll be really hard to compete in the new memecoin game because it’s blown up so much over there

Doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try to build interesting token communities here (many are only possible with the tech here), but pure liquidity is not enough here to warrant attention
