Farcaster Verifications are coming soon

Verify your account by connecting two socials (X, Phone or GitHub) and holding $25 in your wallet. 

Verified accounts are less likely to get the spam label and show up higher in the feed, replies and search. 

They are necessary to earn weekly rewards and qualify for airdrops

A few people have pointed out that they have neither an X or a Github. We're making changes to support them:

1. If you're active and earning rewards, you won't have to connect socials. Exact threshold TBD. 

2. If you're a brand new user, you can pay to skip connecting socials.

3. We're also going to add more socials and onchain verifications over time to make this easier.

"If you're a brand new user, you can pay to skip connecting socials", if I read the previous announcement you made right, you said connecting socials would be used for verification but if you allow users to pay to skip that, isn't that basically what X does (and face backlash for) in which you pay for the verification checkmark? Also curious as to why "brand new user" is specifically mentioned in there, would it be exclusive to new accounts? If so, prepare for the current "spam accounts" to sunset their current accounts and spin up new accounts to spam while being shielded by the verification they paid for because in your own words "Verified accounts are less likely to get the spam label and show up higher in the feed, replies and search".
