're-frame' at Remix the Archive exhibition opening The show features the ten shortlisted artworks from the Finnish National Gallery’s Combine24 competition. The generative art competition invited artists to utilise artwork images and data published under the open CC0 licence of the Finnish National Gallery’s art collections. Unlike more traditional art, generative art uses an algorithm governed by artist-defined rules and parameters, and that generates dynamic variations. Remix the Archive is open to the public from 20 September to 26 October 2024 every Tue-Sat from 12 noon to 18.00hrs. Entrance is free If you like ‘re-frame’, please consider voting for it on the competition website → combine24.alusta.art Any support greatly appreciated!

Agoston love the Remix / Menu interface. Will you publish a paper on the project? I would like to know more about the project.

thank you Mark - at the moment you can read more on the concepts and background at the minting page >> https://highlight.xyz/mint/base:0x681181Da71E15bb24af8c7CBbCA814189e668106 on the exhibition, each piece has a controller, so the audience can push the button to generate variations of the artwork, just like when you push the "randomize" button with re-frame, the "menu" button brings in the panel that shows the original images, compositing layers and authors of the artworks that the actual layout has been combined from (see below) btw I am planning to post an overview on paragraph.xyz/@stc later on, will keep you updated!

Thank you Agoston! I am planning on making my Window series into interactive sculptures. Any resources or tech tips are very much appreciated. I believe what you are doing with audience cocreation is a future of generative art. Kudos, nice work!
