Has anyone come across /ai tools (preferably free) that you can use to improve poor sound quality? We had a great recording, but real lousy audio on one mic. Like, real lousy.

Descript is great overall though we don’t often use the audio sweetening functions. You can edit, I think, an hour’s worth of audio free per month so might be worth trying.

Turns out Descript isn't free for the studio sound editing tool I needed. Interface was a bit clunky. So I tried a trial version of Adobe Podcast and the results are very good!

Amazing! The Adobe tool was still in beta last I checked so hadn’t been able to try it. We use descript for transcripts and editing the audio via text and it works quite while for that. But that’s before it goes into sound design.
