Nintendo Playstation (1991) Sony announces its partnership with Nintendo at CES 1991 to launch the Playstation and enter the gaming market w/ this collab. The very next day, Nintendo announced it would actually partner with Phillips, not Sony. Shocked, Sony decides it’ll develop the Playstation alone from there.
