I’m confused, why Base? FC is built on Optimism and when I bought some WARPS it was on Polygon.

Granted, farcaster the protocol is on @undefined. On my side of the protocol tho, @jessepollak has been a huge advocate for 'caster dev and is a member of The Haberdashery. Optimism is not so well represented atm, but that may change. Long and short: these are frens of the degentlemen and farcaster and we grow together.

I guess Base is powered by the OP stack. 

Not sure when you go to buy WARPS via Coinbase Commerce it doesn’t use Base?

But if I click the buy Warps button it opens Polygon in MetaMask, not Base?

Warps are not a crypto. Payment for warps can be done w/ $degen (base) and others. That's all backend handling, no blockchain or Polygon to be found. 

And yep, base is part of the superstack.
