It's always 420 somewhere. Round 420 of /pixelnouns ⌐◨-◨ has started and it marks a new phase. In some ways similar, in other ways different. In short, you can mint one Pixel Noun per day on Degen chain using one of 3 methods: 1) frame claim, 2) breed, or 3) cast action .... Each day, soon after midnight UTC, the @pixelnouns bot will cast a frame into the /pixelnouns channel for the new day's mint. It's always 420, but each day is a new day, and your minting allocation of 1-per-day resets. Watch the channel or follow @pixelnouns.

In past rounds, there was always a single method for minting, but in Round 420, all 3 methods are available. Each day, you must choose one, as you can only mint one per day (not one of each, only one period). The [Mint] button on the frame is a frame claim, with random pixels being generated. The [Breed] button will breed 2 Pixel Nouns to create a new one, the parents are randomly chosen from ALL Pixel Nouns (not just yours). Pixel Rarity comes in multiple forms, and varies each day. This applies to frame claims and cast action mints. Pixel colors come in 4 types -- a small percentage of mints will get rare colors based on the type for that day. The four types, which you may recognized from past rounds are: 1) Rare color palettes (as seen in early rounds: reds, blues, etc.), 2) Soulbounds /basecolors (hat tips to @jake and @apex777), 3) Colors based the /framedl palette (hat tip to @ds8), and 4) colors based on the randomly chosen head shape, the colors used for that head in the OG /nouns collection (ref: Round 17). Note the types are randomly chosen each **day**, not each mint. One day will be a Base Colors day, the next day might be a Framedl colors day. Tip: play everyday for a chance to collect the various types of rares.

⌐◨-◨ Rarity. New for Round 420 are 5 noggle types that are not part of the OG /nouns collection. A small percentage of mints will receive **one** of these per day. Again, as for rare colors, each day features only one of these 5 rare noggles: the next day a different rare noggle will be available if you are lucky. I am not going to reveal these today, you can discover them in the days ahead.

Head resolution. As for most of the recent rounds, each mint gets a head shape from the OG /nouns collection. The head shape was never perfectly formed, though the "head resolution" increased as rounds progressed, with heads shapes becoming more noticeable. In Round 420, each day gets a randomly chosen head resolution. Some days will feature fairly defined head shapes, others will have a lot of extra pixels making the shape harder to discern. Each day, all mints will adhere to a new head resolution, which will be more or less defined that the day before.

There will be a daily raffle where one Pixel Noun minted the previous day will get transformed and elevated to layer 2 (/base) as a Found Pixel Noun. To enter the raffle, you must mint a Pixel Noun on Degen chain during that day. The number of tickets you get, however, depends on the number of /pixelnouns and Found Pixel Nouns you have. Yes, you can increase your tickets by buying Pixel Nouns on Jeeves.market! Soon after midnight UTC, the @pixelnouns bot will run the raffle and cast the winner into the /pixelnouns channel. The Found Pixel Noun will be automatically minted (airdropped) to the winner. One winner per day.
