There is a (draft) proposal to discontinue frames in favor of mini-apps. THe mini-app stuff is going to be really great, but we'd lose the ability to have simple frames that enable button actions directly from your feed. I feel strong that would be a big loss for users.

Hmmm can they both not co-exist together? Like are all the allowance checker frames and what nnot going to be extinct if the proposal passes?

My suggestion is to keep both. I think that would be best for users. (And while I did call it a proposal, it’s more accurately a draft spec. While the Warpcast team is currently engaging with developers regarding the spec, in the end it will be their decision to make)
