Re: V2 gas costs Fluctuating gas costs aren't something we can control. Base is a busy Blockchain. A memecoin launches and the network experiences a gas spike. However, whatever is within our control, we will work on. We can save gas on AF claims by moving the process of calculating the rewards offchain. But I don't think there are many other optimisations out there. So don't expect any other things (sub, unsub, stake) to come down any time soon! I do trust the @base team will work towards reducing overall Blockchain congestion! From our side, we will continue to search for other optimizations to pass on to you.

I wonder why I pay $0.01 per tx on base and I have to pay 60 spark to claim my AF... I can't do it daily!

Without doing the math, the reason for discrepancy is some functions of the @superfluid protocol are (necessarily) very gas-intensive and thus more expensive. Here an is example AF claim (as least pretty sure this is an AF claim). Note that it cost 3,300,000 gas units ... whereas an NFT mint might cost only 100,000 gas. Hence the txn fee was 30 times 0.01 USD == 0.30 USD.

Thank you, I didn't know it was so gas intensive. Also, number of channels somehow gets in the way as well. More channels subbed to, gas is higher.
