frames

Can someone help me with fc:frame:state? The documentation is shallow, I don't get back the state in the request, only buttonIndex. Please be so kind and enlighten me :D

In the frame spec I see that *initial* frames: "Should not include an fc:frame:state tag". Why isn't this supported? Seems like it would be very easy to transmit this to frame server on the first POST. Currently I have to write a bunch of extra code to workaround this issue...

You should get a "state" element in the POST json body ..... BUT .... you won't get "state" on the *first* POST from your initial frame. Only on subsequent POSTs. Personally, I hope this changes in future.

I built a slider for images, so this is a subsequent post, but for me, it does not contain the state

frame developer, web3 developer, long distance runner /streme /pixelnouns /frm /degendogs /degenfers /toka /maxis

The problem is, I don't get it on subsequent frames either. Not getting a state is also a state, so I have no problem with that. To anyone having the same problem, use fc:button:1:action "link" and fc:button:1:target "https://something/:custom-parameter/:other-custom-parameter" .
