Be more stubborn about your aspirations than anyone else. You’ll often disappoint people close to you, but in the end we all die alone. At that point we have to ask ourselves: Did I realise all my dreams and aspirations or was I too scared to take risks because of fear of judgment?

15 hours. Put the volume low, sleep for most of the flight. Couple hours left of music won’t kill me. It’s only one flight. Never have to listen to her again.

It stems usually from the parents who pass those false notions onto their children. As a result, a child is too scared to take risks and follow their innate passion because they don't want to disappoint their parents. There's usually no light at the end of that process. Only pain and regret.
