The most dangerous superstition that plagues households today is the belief that traditional education (i.e. going to university, getting your degree and getting a job) is the ONLY way to succeed in life.

It stems usually from the parents who pass those false notions onto their children. As a result, a child is too scared to take risks and follow their innate passion because they don't want to disappoint their parents. There's usually no light at the end of that process. Only pain and regret.
