Johnny Depp's return to the new Pirates of the Caribbean is possible. According to Variety, two scripts are being written for the next film in the series, one of which involves the return of Captain Jack Sparrow. If Disney decides to restore relations with the actor, this is the option that will be used during filming. At the same time, sources specify that the studio has not yet contacted Depp.
