The ApeCoin community has registered an offer to sell 16.9 million APE at a discount of 75% of the market value to community members with Trust Level 2 access levels and above. The initiative aims to reward “the broadest category of communities” for their contributions to the project and, accordingly, democratize the protocol management process. According to the proposal, the DAO's treasury could be replenished by $2.7 million after the completion of the sale.
