Alberto Morelas was born in 1950 in Seville, Spain. He is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Geneva. In 1970, he joined Firmenich as a Designer, but in 1977 he called himself a perfume Designer. He, who is known as "Mr. Nose", was named the master of perfume design in 1998.

Morelas's skill and creativity in creating unique and attractive perfumes quickly made him famous.  The nickname "Mr. Nose" was given to him because of his extraordinary ability to detect and distinguish smells.
