In May 2023, it was reported that Ford announced an agreement with Tesla. Starting from the spring of 2024, Ford electric vehicles can connect over 12000 Tesla supercharging stations in North America. Tesla's developed adapter can connect Ford electric vehicles equipped with a Combined Charging System (CCS) port to Tesla V3 supercharging stations. Starting from 2025, Ford will equip the next generation of electric vehicles with Tesla's charging standards, allowing them to directly connect to Tesla's supercharging stations without the need for adapters.
