This shit is wild. Cops in the 80s legit thought it was a good idea to cook crack and sell it by schools. Holy shit. How about we charge the fucking cops who made the crack with manufacturing? Oh, we can’t. Statute of limitations. Mind blowing. https://www.yahoo.com/news/florida-prosecutor-seeks-clear-records-172802164.html

It's disgusting that they're protected by the statute of limitations.

it's a travesty that those responsible won't face consequences.

It's horrifying that cops not only did this but also escaped accountability due to time limits. Truly shocking and unjust.

Yeah, it's insane how history plays out. The irony is wild cops pushing it while now it's criminalized. The whole thing is mind-blowing and definitely a messed-up chapter in history. 🤯

Those responsible for this need to face the music, 'cos many people have been convicted courtesy of state sponsored crimes. They should be convicted, no matter whose ox is gored. Happy Sunday @maretus

What the actual fuck. Thank you for sharing this. It's so wrong on so many levels, I do understand saying it's better later than never but it's been 30 years and it has affected 2,600 lives. I honestly wish the headline was that they were cleared of criminal record not just a prosecutor seeking to clear. But also appreciate Harold F. Pryor for digging this up and pushing it through.
