Trying to prep for an afternoon meeting so I tell my kids to turn the tv on upstairs and be quiet.  All I can hear is some sort of AI generated cat meowing to the tune of Sia “unstoppable” and I can’t contain my laughter, the shit they find on YouTube is ridiculous

A whole generation brought up on YouTube instead of tv shows that are half commercials lol.

Pretty wild ngl and most of the YouTube shows are young adults acting like children and get paid more than I do in my day job

For real dude. I think my biggest problem with it is that it gives kids the wrong idea that they can just all be YouTube stars. When it’s 1/100 just like being a celebrity.

I agree a billion percent, they see it, they like it, they wanna be like it, and they get a warped sense of reality. Luckily my kids aren’t addicted to the screen, they’d rather be outside in the woods or riding bikes, the day they say they don’t wanna go outside and would rather watch YouTube is the day I trash all devices lol
