I really enjoyed @dwr.eth’s video AMA. He comes off much more down to earth and friendly on video than over text. 😂 My thoughts: - There is a lot of talk about what will drive growth, but I think we should also consider things that might hinder growth as well. Videos for all might not drive a ton of growth - but not having them could hinder some meaningful growth. There are a lot of creators who work in video only. Will they ever give Warpcast a chance? - As a channel owner, it’s a little disappointing to hear how quickly channels went from being a priority to an afterthought. Dan said, “There are no channels that are the absolute best in their field”. But, how could there be when it’s mostly a glorified hashtag at this point? For channels to possibly achieve this, they need a more robust framework. Either way, I’m thankful that he’s taking the time to address our questions in a more robust format. Great move!

Going to respond in text (but imagine me doing facial expressions) 1. Good products grow despite flaws; Flawless products that aren't good don't. :) Also other clients can choose to onboard people with video and the videos can appear on Warpcast. 2. Channels — we've been working on channels for over a year. Still trying to figure them out.

Haha, this is a great example of comedy in text form like you were talking about in the video last night. I legitimately laughed out loud. Very well done. I think the only way for another client to truly be able to grow is to have someway to access Warpcast GC's. (not even sure this is possible). Without that, other clients are at a major disadvantage. I know we can use multiple, but most people don't. Either way, I think Farcaster/Warpcast will continue to grow. You guys do a ton of things right. I wouldn't be spending 8 hours a day here otherwise. I appreciate your approach too that you're just going to keep doing the next right thing, and then do it for years. I just think there are maybe some things that could be slowing it down a bit. 🤷♂️ Appreciate the response. Just don't forget about channels entirely and I'll be a happy man. :)
