Since Farcaster is dead now, that means its actually the best time to build something native. A simmer (vs a boil) is the best phase to create value for users who are here without a hype tailwind. New ideas -> hype -> consolidation* -> experimentation -> new ideas -> hype * we are here

Who is saying Farcaster is dead? The activity the last few weeks has been through the roof for me. Certainly feels like it's just starting to come alive. I'm sure you were speaking facetiously, but still curious who is saying this lol. I don't use Twitter, so that may be why I don't know.
