Be thoughtful. The GPT-assisted attempts are obvious.

OK to have a few replies that don’t get any engagement. But if you reply to pretty much every cast and nothing, the problem is most likely you.

No one is entitled to another person’s attention.

Here are the fastest ways that I know of to end up with a spam label:

- Tagging people you have no prior established communications with. Don't tag big accounts hoping that they respond - many will report you.
- Using money guns or ham cannons excessively, especially in other people's casts. Sending 80 spam messages in the comments of someone else's cast is a quick way to end up with 80 spam reports. 
- Making inauthentic low effort comments, leaving comments that sound straight out of Chatgpt, or commenting with promotional links. 

Getting a spam label removed is much more difficult than ending up with one in the first place. Your account here is a valuable asset. Treat it like one.

Getting tagged by strangers can be uncomfortable. 
For Japanese people who aren’t good at English, using tools like ChatGPT or translation apps is common. 
This might be why there’s a lot of spam from Japanese users.

Agreed. What I try to tell people is to prompt chatgpt better. You don't have to copy exactly what it gives you. 

If you're really using it as a translation tool, train it. "Use this type of tone, language, etc."
