I know some people have some different feelings about the emissions reduction for Moxie. Yes, we feel it, but my personal opinion is that it was needed for longevity. But I want to make sure the Tavern is heard! moxie is speedrunning what degen learned the hard way. emissions need to be throttled if the incentive is too strong. period. sense of entitlement goes up and avariciousness goes with it. ply your network with good money for bad work and watch your network turn toxic quickly. like the last few days of a coke binge.

What do you think about reduced emissions killing sentiment? My take on what killed Degen’s momentum in April is the drastic cut to emissions that happened. It went from being fun to be in degen to boring cause everyone got cut to like 100 allos. That’s when the decline happened. I just don’t want a similar thing to happen with sentiment here.

sentiment needs to be cooled, not killed. Jacek edited emission schedule abruptly and without warning, iirc. airstack is trying to dial it in more gradually. boring is relative and people habituate over time. the money should be the backdrop, not the centerpiece. it's the means to an end only. if it isn't producing good culture at these levels, scale back and reassess.
