I had a short meeting with @dwr.eth today to discuss /success and my take on the new iteration of channels. Overall, I really like where channels are headed and I shared my ideas for how to make them better. Ultimately, Warpcast shines when it’s connecting people. I don’t come here for the content—there’s plenty of other places to get that. I come here for the community. Making this the best platform to build online, on chain communities is the right approach. Honestly, it’s super cool that Dan is taking time out to talk to channel owners to get our take on what works and what doesn’t. I think it signals a shift in communication styles and I’m all for it!

He's talking to his customers. I guess that signals the shift from onboarding qdau people to onboarding community creators as the main focus to grow Warpcast and perhaps the protocol.

Agreed. I think it’s the right approach. Make Warpcast the best place to build onchain communities and give creators an abundance of tools to power those communities. I think there are a shitload of discord servers and TG groups that would be better served by a Warpcast channel. It’s just a matter of showing people that it’s out here and how it works.

Tools is the key, but I’d go as far as saying new form factors (UI/UX) will be necessary as well. For example, old school forums are a great community form factor that combines the best of the endless scrolling modern social media experience with long form discussion combined with organization of information and searchabilty. Imagine a FC powered community with those ux features? Would be sick.
