aren’t microtransactions just spam? projects have been dusting wallets forever to get attention. sending someone tokens on Farcaster doesn’t mean they’ll care—people sent me Warps, I ignored them. unless there's utility or context, microtransactions = noise.

He’s saying micro transactions as in $1-$2 for a very cheap repeatable service like amps. You pay for a recast. Most people (me included) charge $1. But it does start to add up. I’ve made close to $200 in $1 transactions from people paying for recasts.

Interesting idea, though $1 barely feels like a microtransaction—Reddit Gold starts at $1.99. Nothing web2 hasn’t seen. Amps kind of feels like a click farm from what you described—getting paid instantly for quick actions. Personally, I’d rather get paid in bigger chunks later.
