Like we’ve discussed before - services aren’t included in the trade deficit calculations and the U.S. has enormous surpluses in services.

If we start tariffing services, we open up the trade war for the rest of the companies in the country. Europe will tariff Google and Netflix and Apple and Amazon AWS. The list will go on.

Hollywood has gone downhill so fast its amazing.  No idea what he is saying here I dont read his posts that are intended to agitate the TDS of retards....  But tell me what good moves have been made the past 10 years.

Starting to worry the most about the changes to the U.S. cultural landscape and the freedom and independency of all media. Has indirect implications for everything else in the near and especially long term.

How does one tax a movie…like raise ticket prices at movies, charge to be shown in the US? And what about movies that just go straight to streaming? I mean isn’t that kinda like trying to tax the internet at some point?
