It was a change that I advocated for actually. 

Prior to 10/10, channel members on a spam algo didn’t have their engagement count. 

At that date, they did. So, a whole lot more people’s engagement counts now. :)

Here’s 1000 $degen for changing the game

Anyone who is a member of the same channel where you are casting. Before if they were on the spam list, their engagement didn’t count. Now it does.

I argued that if they were full members of a channel, it didn’t make sense to ignore their engagement. Merkle agreed.
