For me, I was missing so many truly legitimate people that I had to turn it off.

FC is trying to onboard new users while at the same time making their voices much harder to be heard until they spend significant time on the platform.

this + the fact reply bumping is nuked ruins visibility for small accounts

as someone who had 0 following in crypto before Farcaster this pains me

I was able to climb a ladder to visibility and it feels like that path is impossible now for new people on Warpcast

It’s not impossible, but it’s a lot harder.

I’ve been here for 41 days and I’m doing really well now, but the first 2 weeks I almost gave up several times. When I scroll back my profile & look at my early casts, it was painful. No one was seeing them.

I am also an exception because I put in 40 hours a weeklol

lol yeah nothing is impossible, but we also gotta make it less discouraging for the average person

it's hard enough to gain followers, then throwing them an algo that only shows their casts to people 1/10 times is ridiculous

I wholeheartedly agree. All my homies turn off priority mode. 🤙🏼
