Todays /success topic of the day: What’s one outdated practice or belief that you think needs to be challenged or discarded? I think we need to change the practice of saying “the customer is always right.” This can lead to toxic client relationships and to unreasonable expectations. It’s ok to say NO. What do you think?

"Go to school, get good grades, be a doctor (or equivalent), get a job with good benefits & work until retirement" I recognize that it's not as common today but, people growing up in households with older generations still share that mindset. This could not be further from the truth... Although it may still be a viable option for some, it is definitely not the only, nor the best option in today's world. It's time we break free of old ideals & embrace the new opportunities we have now.

Right on. There are so many different paths that are viable now. That old model almost isn’t anymore. The world is changing too much too fast to work the same job for your whole life. Hope all is well! Glad you’re still here. 🙌🏼

Yup, you got that right. Change is so swift now. It took so much more time to make a fraction of the advancements we make now. I'm happy I changed courses despite the mentality I was surrounded by. All is good, thank you for checking in! I'm never leaving 🫶🏾 always gotta support my Maretus! 🫂
