Apparently it’s a thing for engineers to write with really cool looking all capital letters.

When I was a kid I wondered why both my parents wrote in all caps (neither were engineers, but lefties) and it wasn't until high school were I had to write more and struggled with my handwriting that I realized it was because it reduces the number of glyphs to practice from 52 to 26. Stuck to it since!

Wow I never thought about that at all. All this time I’ve been writing the long way lol.
