interesting how some knowledge sticks for life while other things need constant refreshing. I haven't played Pokémon in over a decade, yet I can still name most of the first generation. meanwhile, I've had times I could name/locate every country, but if I don't quiz myself regularly, I end up forgetting half of them.

I am always amazed by my ability to remember song lyrics for 7000 different songs while simultaneously not being able to keep track of where I put my car keys.
