I want to try something new with the pinned cast in /success: encouraging more long form discussion. Read the question below and answer thoughtfully. Let’s spark some real conversations here! There has been a lot of FUD recently about past failure and what that means for future success. With this in mind—what is the most important failure you’ve experienced in life and how did it shape the person you are today? For me, it was losing everything to drug addiction and the criminal justice system. My career, my health, my youth. But through that struggle, I learned to be a much stronger person—much more capable to take on the challenges of life. I wouldn’t change anything as all of it helped shape the person I am today. What about you?

In my opinion past failure or unfortune events can shape you to be much stronger and give you the motivation to show everyone and especially yourself what you are capable of. My approach to life is a strong internal conviction that things will always work out well for me - I never doubt for one second and it has been working out more than fine so far.

My mom taught me this same internal conviction that things would always be OK. Maybe not in the moment—but eventually.
