Insider Trading

With the creation of the /insider-trading channel, I’ve realized just how many people are learning to trade. So, tonight we’ll talk about trading strategies! 

Here are a couple that I think are important:

1) Layering out to take profit: One of my biggest challenges has been knowing when to take profit and when to hold. I tend to either sell too early and miss the majority of profit or hold too long and round trip stuff. 

Lately though, I have been layering out of positions and it works much better. Things are pumping? Sell 25% and re-assess. If it keeps running, keep taking some off the table. But always leave yourself a moonbag - unless you’re sure it’s all deadweight. 

2) Cutting your losses. Sometimes you have to cut a position at a loss to put the money to better use. This shouldn’t be done lightly though as it’s a quick way to burn through your funds. That said, don’t be afraid to cut a loser.

I wasn't really into trading before, sometimes I could just try my luck, for me it was similar to playing casino. There are three options: either everything, nothing, or you're left holding the bag. But last week I caught myself thinking that why not to try to do it for 7 days, to practice on small sums and to take a closer look at it. I ended up making 110 from 15 dollars. I think that's pretty good for a dummy in this business. I do everything manually: without limit orders and all that. Go to dexscreener -> check tokens -> choose the right ones -> go to uniswap -> swap eth to them -> wait for growth -> swap back. Simple as that!😂 

Hopefully with your new channel /insider-trading and group chat with callers I'll start figuring this out a lot better and have a lot more /success with it. Thanks again!💜
