I believe in DEGEN, but I also believe that the system we had for allowances last month did a better job at incentivizing good content. I'm still reserving judgement on how this season changes behavior, but I'm already starting to see signs.

I would have worked to make sure I was one of the 1k last season. I watched at least 20 people start with an allo of 5 and work their way up to allos in the 1000's.

I'm not talking about you or a few people, my friend. Otherwise I agree with you. But I also think there should be more participants and it should not be made difficult for people to be part of it. That would also bring the farmer here. But farmers are everywhere. Not everybody is as sensitive as you are. In the previous seasons, it was necessary to prevent accounts who got 30-40K followers that farmed only by interacting with each other.

I'm not sensitive about it and I'm also fine with the current setup. My allo is still fine. I am concerned about the effects it has on Warpcast content. It does nothing to encourage quality like the last season did. If you were to compare content quality from last season to the season prior, it was blatantly obvious which season had the higher quality content. People were incentivized to put in an effort with their content. Now they aren't.

I know you want to be able to contribute more to others and that's why you did it. In a way, it seems that the deficiency here will be filled with the new project. Quality content will increase even more with moxie. We should not burden this mission to only DEGEN. Degen is a good rewarding mechanism, but the responsibility for what is produced in farcaster belongs to FC, not DEGEN.

I agree that Moxie will work to improve content quality. But, we're talking about incentives. If DEGEN can be used to incentivize better content on Farcaster, I think that's a good objective. What FC needs more than anything else is good content. Removing the majority of the incentive for good content doesn't make sense to me personally.
