Loving ourselves means embracing our flaws as a part of us that is as valid as any other

It’s never too late to change course. 6 years ago, I was doing plumbing - digging ditches and crawling around in hot Florida attics for $15 an hour.

Today, I have a great career doing something I enjoy, a beautiful wife that I’ve been chasing since high school, and a growing group of awesome friends here. 

Your future isn’t written. Don’t be afraid to try something new. Don’t be afraid to fail. It’s how you grow.

Hard agree. I said essentially this same thing in a more personal way the other night. 

I am a recovering drug addict. People often say to me, "if only you hadn't." but I always say, "I wouldn't change a thing." 

All those struggles help define who I am today.
