Is “home” just where you were staying or your actual home?

but this brings up a fascinating thing that i've thought deeply about over the last 2 yrs as a nomad...

when we were living in grenoble france, we went up to paris for 5 days, we had already stayed in grenoble for about 6-7 weeks at that time, and when we got off the train back to grenoble we felt a sense of peace, like we were home, we had met so many ppl in grenoble and it felt comfortable, and at that moment it made me think about what "home" is... for me my "home" is where i grew up in the states, but after staying places and feeling the sense of comfort or belonging after a while 1.5-2 months in, each place feels like home in a way - so when i say omw home that's why

appreciate the question bc it just made me think about this again!
