„Gaming the system“ is what you want in all protocols, especially in new ones. You must find out if they’re designed in a way that can only be gamed in positive ways. If not you adapt the protocol.

IMO the Taimo Boost is gaming /alfafrens in a positive way. It brings attention, grows channels and won‘t work forever. It is also about being transparent what and when you do it. Otherwise it doesn’t work as well. It also doesn’t harm anyone. ALFA rewards are ON AVERAGE very high on channels that use it.

You say this all as if you know this for a fact but there is very little data for anyone to know for sure. Anecdotal evidence aside - it’s a super selfish tactic that benefits you as the creator more than your subscribers or your stakers.

You don't have evidence to suggest the creator is the primary beneficiary, and the channel users are hurt over this. Yet you keep talking about prove that it is good. You will never find that data unless the game is played so what do you even want?

It’s obvious the creator is the primary beneficiary, otherwise why would they do it? To spend gas? Come on, that’s just disingenuous. The data can be gotten without doing this.

The people who stake in the channel prior tend to be happy about it. And how to reward them? You take a loss 📉 The income is redistributed to your frens. They get a win 🏆 Then, when you come back, the whole system is bigger and marches towards equilibrium.

Eventual equilibrium at the expense of everyone in the short term. This system is 3 weeks old and it takes time to reach “equilibrium”.

Step 1. Start 150 ALFA return 10k ALFA staked 500 subscribers Step 2. Unstake 90 ALFA return 1k ALFA staked 500 subscribers Step 3. Wait 120 ALFA return 5k ALFA staked 495 subscribers Step 4. Restake 220 ALFA return 14k ALFA staked 500 subscribers It returns to 150 alfa per subscription very fast

I know how the process works, thanks for describing it without any time scales or anything else useful to go with it. 👍🏻 I also like how you leave out the countless people who aren’t sharks and likely get fucked everytime they unsubscribe and resub cause they can’t keep track of 6000 different usernames.

No one is subscribed to 6000 people, anyone who is approaching that is beyond a shark they're a regular ol whale. I also like how you keep suggesting someone is getting their arm cut off despite not showing me any gore. Normally you get 5 alfa aday with 150 sub Now you get 3 alfa a day when it's down to 90 wow pain
