We are already seeing a lot of hostility from venture funds either (1) trying to restrict founders from selling cheaper on echo than to VCs, or (2) trying to stop founders doing community sales at all except late-stage high FDV “launch sales”.

What you are missing is that’s it’s a negligible cost to increase the supply of NFTs on ANY proof of stake chain. On Bitcoin it would cost millions most likely…. The real scarce asset is blockspace or data saved on every node not the image referenced on a centralized database

Ethereum does not compete with other L1s when it comes to efficiency. It does, however, compete with them on decentralization and robustness. When comparing efficiency, you should be comparing Alt-L1s to L2s, as they are the onboarding vehicles to Ethereum's onchain economy.

The idea that the US health care system is free market or an indictment of the private sector is ludicrous when only 11 cents of every dollar of health care expenditure is out of pocket. It was 33 cents in 1970. It’s a government system with perverse profits for certain players.

Unfortunately all DAOs now need legal wrappers. I personally fought very hard to avoid this outcome but am now confident we tried our best before capitulation and the time has come to accept this at least until a legislative safe harbor of some kind.
