The research is divided into two parts: Canteiros [Planting beds] and Fazer junto [Doing it together]. Canteiros explores three historical references from the 1960s to 1980s: the series Inserรงรตes em circuitos ideolรณgicos [Insertions into ideological circuits] by Cildo Meireles; Arte de Sistemas from the Argentine conceptualism of CAYC โ Centro de Arte y Comunicaciรณn (Art and Communication Center); and Joseph Beuys' projects with multiples and food. Fazer junto looks at artistic productions made in Brazil between 2002 and 2019: works by Poro that have to do with food, cooking, graphic imaginary, picnics, street food and public space; works by Thislandyourland collective related to land issues, agri-food incursions, autonomy, harvests and community preparations; and, finally, works by Jorge Menna Barreto that explore the relationship between food-landscape-society, agroforestry, sites and contexts specifics. 1 reply
