When @fluffheadchaser offered patronage for an art submission on Tezos, I was drawn into a black hole of old memories and future ideas. I re-experienced the joy of my first release on @objktcom and remembered the interactions from my earliest commission — which, interestingly enough, was from him.
Revisiting the same concept and algorithm felt like a blast, so raw, unpolished, and personal. It made me wish that one could step away from the socials scene (and its influences) and remain close to one’s true nature, indefinitely.
The new work, while beginning with the same code as Br/Kn Memories, closely translates my current aesthetic and personal journey. It reflects my overarching struggle to find objective truth around and within myself, the subtle influence of my recent passion for Gustave Doré illustrative art, and the unapologetic voice of a free spirit — or more precisely, the memory of it.

It's not often I get to work with someone whose work I've so long admired, but I recently got the opportunity with @division7 as part of the @tezos Art Commission September Open Call. 😊 

Building on the algorithm created in the artist's 'Br/Kn Memories' series first released on @objktcom in 2022, "MXacm01" weaves raw imperfections and dystopian compositions into an antique fabric of sorts, expressing time passed and the seemingly continual search for objective truth in existence.
