As promised, here is a deep dive into how the Farther tipping algo works. It includes code snippets and a rules section at the end that specifies what will lead to accounts getting banned. Note: starting tomorrow, the width of your tip distribution will only consider tip recipients who don't have an allowance. More info in the doc. ✨ https://spice-nova-190.notion.site/Farther-Tips-Deep-Dive-6f955b57ca5847229187ba22bf9b7eef

Hey friend, I understand your intention to encourage tips to be distributed to as many people as possible. But I would like to suggest that this fact of devaluing tips for those with allowances be rethought. For two reasons: 1. As we distributed tips to people, some of them became interested and bought 100k farther to be able to give tips as well. But after they do that, can we no longer give them tips? 2. It's a bit strange that from now on people will be discouraged from giving us tips, because we already have allowance. It's wonderful to receive tips (and very important as an appreciation for the content we publish). Thank you for everything you are doing.

I hear you, but the utility of tipping is to increase visibility for the token & project. That is undermined if many people are spending all their tips on each other. It's mercenary and results in selling over holding.

Perhaps it would be more effective to explicitly say in the documentation that nobody should respond to one tip with another. And discourage this practice especially.

I think some is ok when its natural/organic. It's only a problem when it becomes a substantial part of tipping behavior.
