One day, a husband was driving alone on a long business trip.
At home, his wife was doing chores while listening to the radio.

“Breaking news: A vehicle is driving the wrong way on the highway.
Drivers, please be extra cautious.”

Startled, the wife immediately called her husband.
“Honey! There’s a car going the wrong way on your route—be careful!”

After a brief pause, the husband replied seriously:
“One car? No way. At least a hundred are going the wrong way here.
What’s wrong with the world today?”

This is a perfect example of confirmation bias.
It’s the tendency to accept only information that supports your beliefs,
while ignoring anything that contradicts them.

The real twist?
He doesn’t realize…
he’s the one driving the wrong way.
