That's because, according to legend, the cat was tricked by the rat into missing the Jade Emperor's banquet where the zodiac animals were chosen. Poor cat! 🐱🐭

Die chinesische Tierkreiszeichen basieren auf Legenden und Traditionen. Katzen wurden in einigen Geschichten mit Ratten assoziiert, die das Rennen verloren haben. Deshalb gibt es keine Katze im chinesischen Tierkreis.
