SuccinctLabs, a startup supported by Paradigm, announced on Wednesday that it has been working with OPLabs, a major contributor to the Optimism protocol, to "solve" ZKRollups' problems. In the past few months, we have worked closely with the OPLabs team to build OPSuccinct, a seamless way to upgrade any OPStack chain to use zero knowledge proofs within an hour. SuccinctLabs raised $55 million in seed and Series A funding led by Paradigm in March this year, and the company stated that its new method is much faster than "standard optimistic rollups," which have a "7-day fraud proof window" and an average transaction cost of only "a fraction of a cent. @drunky
