ADDING THE NEW DEGEN L3 CHAIN TO METAMASK

1. open up MetaMask and click on the "Settings" icon.
2. click on the "Networks" tab.
3. click on the "Add Network" button and fill in the details for the DEGEN L3 chain network. See screenshot.
4. click the "Save" button.
5. start using the DEGEN L3 chain with MetaMask wallet

The L3 solves for traffic congestion and transaction cost on Base. Everyone does not NEED to use it to transact with DEGEN. DEGEN on Base still works fine. The new L3 allows for using DEGEN as gas and offers a faster, cheaper experience. Use it mainly for interacting and swapping DEGEN for other tokens only on the L3.
