Thanks Simon! Very much so! That was the most important thing for me in parenting. Let the kids play in dirt. It's not only something primal, but also exposes them to microbes, builds their immune system, and instill the explorer spirit! I signed my son of to nature camps where they would learn how to use knives safely, carve with them, create body paint out of clay and mud...TY!

I find it more common in where I grew up (Germany / Europe). Americans are very fond of their Clorox ;-).

That's amazing! I remember a childhood filled with dirt and forest and exploring, and was such an important part of who I am now. I wish more parents today were like you!
