Because discrediting the electoral process is basically the only tool left in the conservative playbook 🤷

Trying to stay off of the other app, but I'd venture the argument is roughly as follows:
1/ rate cut make money cheap(er)
2/ cheap money boosts the economy (everyone feels richer)
3/ incumbent generally wins when economy is doing well.

ergo: cut rates, economy up, incumbent wins
