Walking through the towering bamboo corridors of Arashiyama on the outskirts of Kyoto, Japan is not only visually beautiful, but also the music of nature. The sounds created by the rustling of the stems and rustling of the leaves evoke scenes from Hollywood horror movies. In 1996, the Ministry of Environment of Japan included the Sagano bamboo forest in the list of 100 spectacular sights, and this caused a huge flood of tourists to this area.
