I'm not sure there is anything true useful in associating such actions with "far left".
Would associating murderers with their political affiliation provide any useful insight into anything?  No, not unless there was a shockingly strong association with all murderers and a specific political affiliation

I understand your motion, but I think it is highly relevant to shed a light on the motives and political affiliations, also debunk the often propagated lie that violence comes from the right wing.

I understand your concern. I believe that feeding the divisive discourse only makes things worse. Anybody that identifies as "left" will just label you as "right" and stop listening to anything you cast. 
I think it would be equally relevant to mention if they are into sports, videogames, music or anything else.
