One year ago today, we announced Base with a single blue dot. Since then, that blue dot has grown to represent a global community charting a new path forward.

fun fact: the core team had the idea to set our slack status to the blue dot two sundays before. it spread like wildfire through @coinbase and the whole company was rocking it by the time we went live. 

so grateful to everyone who has believed in @base - excited to keep building together!

I remember chilling in Goa with a couple of friends, a couple of beers down when CT went absolutely nuts over a little blue dot. 

Been an interesting to see how it's grown into a full-ass movement.
