The tax industry needs disruption. Everybody hates taxes, the system is opaque, unjustified, and worries everyone. I think Blockchain can be extremely useful there. Imagine a voted percentage cut that gets discounted on wallet incomes. This cut is voted on by verified wallets. Here's why:

There are blockchain maxis that think it's good for everything but I disagree. As an engineer, blockchain is one tool in a toolbox that engineers use to fix problems. Blockchain is not going to be as fast and cheap as centralized systems. It's good for very specific use cases.

First and foremost, being immutable and decentralized as a result censorship-resistant, which makes it the best tool for public use cases. Serving in the army during the Egyptian revolution made me see how being opaque on public policies could lead to wild turmoils, disrupting the global economic systems.
